Driving Towards A Greener Future: Our Journey to Net Zero

Over the last year, Omnia has made significant progress towards reducing our carbon footprint, with a remarkable 12% decrease in our emissions intensity.

We are committed to becoming Net Zero by 2040 and to have halved our greenhouse gas emissions intensity by 2035.

To achieve our goals, we have already introduced a number of changes and initiatives to our company:

• We have established satellite office locations based on proximity to the homes of staff member's who will travel there most often, reducing commute times and cutting down on emissions produced through daily travel.
• We have reviewed our waste streams which ensure recycling arrangements are effectively implemented and aligned with the waste we generate. Through optimising our waste management processes, we are reducing landfill waste.
• We have implemented a company car scheme which provides a tax-efficient method of employees accessing electric vehicles, which helps promote the transition from combustion engines to electric vehicles, to cut down our reliance on fossil fuels.

We also plan on implementing more carbon reduction initiatives in future and Omnia acknowledges that becoming Net Zero is an ongoing journey, so we are continuously reviewing and updating our carbon reduction policies to make sure we achieve our targets.
